Festive Outfits – Christmas Day & Boxing Day
So you’ve managed to pull off your killer Christmas Eve outfit and you have another lined up for drinks on Christmas Night, what do you wear in between? Whether you’re lounging around your house watching Christmas films and waiting for the turkey to roast, or you’re heading out for a family dinner at a restaurant or home; your daytime outfits can be just as important.
You want to be comfortable to accommodate all that food as well as relaxed but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice on style. The dreaded Christmas jumper has enjoyed a wild renovation in fashion recently, you’ll find the High Street windows crammed with snowman jumpers and novelty sweats.
If you want to avoid the gimmicks of reindeers and Santa jacquards, you can find beautiful stylish winter knits all over the shops.
This Whistles sequin sweater offers both the party feel and delicious comfort. Leaving room for extra serving of Christmas pudding!

If you want some added glam and extra warmth to your Christmas outfit but without having to carry around a bulky coat, you could look at buying a faux fur shawl, stole or scarf. We covered the best ways to wear scarves in our previous post, but the festivities will call for much warmer items like this Faux Fur Stole from Ted Baker. Use it to protect those bare shoulders and especially if you’re wearing a plunging neckline. Add a sparkly brooch for that extra glamorous bling!

A dramatic necklace will make this simple dress into a magnificent party frock.
Finally when it comes to footwear, heels can be exchanged for a party pump where possible!
But if your feet have survived the previous night and you want to go for heels try a platforms or a wedge for extra comfort all in preparation for New Years Eve!
