We at Coathanger understand that dressing stylishly and presenting the right image does not come naturally to everyone. Sometimes we need to learn from the experts. That is why we have set up Coathanger College to provide on-site presentations and workshops where groups of friends or colleagues can not only learn how to dress and present themselves to their best advantage but have fun at the same time!
We have a number of different formats which can be tailor made according to your requirements. Whether you are an individual looking for a novel way to entertain friends, a business or company keen to educate your staff on the importance of dressing stylishly for the workplace or a corporation wishing to add a great new experience to your portfolio of company entertainment, you are sure to find a Coathanger College seminar suitable for your needs.
Style presentation
This is an excellent way to provide guests or staff with a fun and educational experience. In a convivial and supportive atmosphere we introduce the audience to the concepts of styling and personal image development. We normally commence with a short talk but the main idea is that this should be an interactive event with lots of audience participation and questions. We bring along plenty of props like jewellery, scarves and belts for the audience to try and we also discuss the importance of colour through use of a wide variety of colour swatches.
As a fun addition we can also invite a couple of volunteers prior to the event to act as models for the evening. This entails us choosing a couple of 'before and after' outfits from their own wardrobe which they then model on the night.
This presentation can take place in front of any size of audience.
Style and grooming workshop
The same format as the style presentation but with additional advice and demonstrations from our hair and make-up expert.
As a special optional extra we can provide the opportunity for three pre-selected participants to have their hair cut and re-styled at the event by a professional hairdresser.
This workshop is suitable for smaller groups of up to 20 people.
Image and self development workshop.
Again the same format as the style workshop but this time with additional communications skills training from our communications expert. Grooming advice can also be added.
