Amazing experience with Suzanne! As someone who identifies as non-binary in their early 40’s, I have found it difficult to figure out a sense of style that balances what would look and feel good on me while still fitting in my personal and professional context. This being my first time working with a stylist, I appreciated the whole process from the initial online conversation to the shopping day itself in London. Suzanne had a great selection of stores picked out and kept things well organized during our time together, moving us on to different stores without the process feeling rushed and making sure that I was able to find all that I needed within budget. And let’s not forget the clothes themselves! Suzanne really got what I was looking for, even when I couldn’t quite put it into words myself, and the selections continue to be a hit with lots of compliments from family, friends, and colleagues. I never imagined that I would need or want the services of a personal stylist – I wasn’t that sort of person… But I have a big new job and a trusted friend told me, very gently, that I needed to do something about my wardrobe, and she recommended Suzanne. I was quite trepidatious: as a lesbian who has always dressed rather unconventionally (and who wants to continue to do so), and who struggles often to find clothes to fit, I didn’t expect working with Suzanne would be such fun, or so easy. But it has been a pleasure first to have my wardrobe ‘detoxed’, to have Suzanne’s sharp eye on my existing clothes and her suggestions of many ways to put together items that I already owned, and then to go shopping together to buy an array of new outfits for the new job. Suzanne challenged me to try things on that I never would have touched, and quickly ‘got me’. I am not going into the new job looking like someone else – but rather like a smarter, more stylish version of myself. I can’t recommend Suzanne highly enough. And she’s a lovely person, with great psychological insight, and a fabulous aesthetic.

Shopping is probably one of my least favourite pursuits as I really have
no idea what suits me! But post menopause, post lockdown and post 50,
I really felt like it was time to get some help.
Despite feeling somewhat anxious Suzanne put me at ease immediately.
She got me to try things on I would never have done on my own and helped
me put together several outfits to dress up or down. She gave me ideas of how
to wear things and just what suited me. I came away with a lot of lovely clothes, none of which were overly expensive but look great together.
